packing your painting

While there is no guarantee that a third party won't damage your painting during its journey to you, I do follow best practices in protecting your purchase to lower the risk of harm. I also ensure that each painting is adequately insured before it leaves my studio.

These are the steps I take to prepare your painting for shipment.
1. Wrap front, sides, and back with abrasion-resistant glassine paper.

2. Position cardboard on front surface.

3. Wrap painting with Uline vapour barrier for protection from water and dirt.

4. Wrap painting with several layers of 24-in wide bubble wrap, then apply four pre-formed cardboard corners to protect its corners.

5. Enclose painting and related documents in a custom-sized shipping carton, then seal with heavy-duty packing tape and attach 3 x 5 inch FRAGILE stickers.

Securely packed, this is ready to ship.
