SPECIFICATIONS
Description: While consuming the last fuel in its core, a dying the star of the Spiral Planetary Nebula (NGC 5189 in the constellation Musca) expels large portions of its outer envelope. The heat of the ejected matter creates intricate ornaments made of glowing clouds of gas clouds, sending the stardust to join the cycle of star formation.
Cold tones of blues, yellows, and glowing reds depict fluorescing sulfur, hydrogen, and oxygen atoms of glowing gas and radial filaments whipped around by stellar winds. Brisk brushstrokes and impasto add to the ferocity of the cosmic storm.
