1. Order processing: about 4 business days
Soon after you place your order, I will receive notification from Stripe (credit card processor) that a purchase transaction for painting(s) has been started. At that point I will prepare the item(s) for shipping. When I receive your payment after being cleared through Stripe, I will ship your package via US Postal Service Priority Mail on the same or next day the post office is open, then send an email to you with a receipt and copy of the Post Office receipt with the package's tracking number. Sending your package to the post office for shipping depends on how quickly Stripe processes and clears your payment.
2. Transit time: varies by distance and time of year: 1 day to 7+ days
The time in transit your painting takes to reach its destination depends on the distance from the post office in Sequim, Washington 98382. Delivery to addresses in northwest Washington can happen as early as the next business day; delivery to Los Angeles, for example, may take two or three days, while delivery to New York or Florida could take a week or longer.
Please remember that there is no guaranteed date of delivery for Priority Mail service and no refund for late delivery. In the weeks before, during, and after the Christmas season, and also during the ongoing Covid-19 emergency, Priority Mail shipments may suffer from scanning delays at the post office which can lead to untraceable shipments and frustratingly long delivery times.
For those reasons, I recommend shipping via Priority EXPRESS Mail Overnight or 2-Day Delivery. The cost is significantly greater, but Priority Express offers guaranteed, fast delivery and refundable postage. For further information see shipping by Priority EXPRESS Mail Overnight or 2Day Delivery.
